Pawns of Furthest East takes place in a near future where humanity is subjugated by the
technological devices it owns. Physical bodies are no longer synonymous with human identity
but mere prostheses, only useful for supporting the technologies they serve. Everyday life
is fully gamified: citizens are pawns forced to play their days in order to survive.
Their job is nothing more than participating in this endless game.
Furthest East lies at the edges of an invisible map, in a dark zone of the deep web,
a cyber-space area accessible only with special capabilities.
Here, the hybridization between man and machine is not only explored but bartered in
radical experiments. Furthest East is a place where humanity is not yet entirely
subservient to the devices controlling them. However, in this limbo, bodies have been lost.
Humans can only be free in cyberspace, the last refuge of their consciousness.
This is the story of two souls who will attempt to meet in this forbidden space, between glitches
and digital fragments, seeking a way to escape technological tyranny and reclaim their essence.
